“I don't know whether the hotel has upgraded my room or not. The room was at the end of the corridor which has a fantastic and wonderful 180 degree view (3 different directions) of andalsnes. The breakfast was very good and there is coffee maker in the room. The hotel was located in a higher level of andalsnes. So you need to carry your luggage uphill if you arrive andalsnes by train or by bus in andalsnes station. Fortunately, I travelled from molde to andalsnes by bus. So that I can get off……

“Just up the road from the bus terminal we arrived from and were able to check in an hour earlier. Friendly staff and room very clean, all we needed for an overnight stay. Nice view from the window. The breakfast at 175NOK (£12.50) was in my opinion not worth it considering the chain hotel we stayed in in Trondheim was only 25NOK more for a lot more choice including hot buffet items, but the onsite bar/restaurant however was very good. “Great hosts, made it simple to check in and check out even if we had a late arrival. The place has a great location, and if you are looking for somewhere that you need to stay for a few weeks its great. I can imagine it being loud if a lot of people are staying at the location at the same time, but during our visit we didn't see anyone nor hear anyone else. We got confused on how to enter the hotel, but the host helped us promptly. Great experience”
