With its gentle shelving sandy beach as well as a variety of water sports including windsurfing and kitesurfing, it makes for a great day out. Why not take a trip to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and enjoy a bike ride along the coast to Winchelsea Beach (3.3 miles)? Or nearby is the town of Hastings (10 miles), which is home to the country’s oldest funicular railway and a host of family activities. The front door of this beautiful property opens into the hallway where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading into the comfortably furnished lounge/diner that features a sofa, armchair and a window seat arranged around a wood burner and Smart TV. A large dining table with seating for all offers the perfect place for relaxed family meals. The front of the cottage is just 20 metres from the river with views of the quay and boats. There is private parking at the front of the property for one car. Further on street parking available (subject to availability).
