The house was restored from H’mong people’s wooden house. What make this place so SPECIAL:
Well, first of all it offers you some of the best views in this area. The house enjoys an elevated position capturing views over the mountain, valley, waterfall, stream and lake around.
Moreover, the house is located just next to the rice terrace and local households. You will hear sound of frog, cricket or cicada from the field. You will also hear (and sometimes smell) of pig farmed by the neighbors or see smoke from their cooking wine activities. You might also see buffalos passing or chickens from the neighborhood running in my garden or yard looking for food. I don’t have a dog here but you will see several dogs from the neighbors hanging out in my yard, especially in the night they will sleep there. You will enjoy a genuine local experience when staying here.
Please be aware that I have no such thing called receptionist. Usually I will be there to hang out with you but sometimes I might be busy. During your stay, you will have a butler who comes to clean the house daily, makes breakfast/lunch/dinner base on your request.
*** LOCATION:
If you are afraid to walk, I advise you not to stay at this house. But if you are a nature lover then I guarantee you will burst out happily.
The house is located about 300m from the main road and it’s currently accessible only by walking or motorbike. Taxi can only take you to the main road but don’t worry, my butler can deliver your luggage on his motorcycle; please arrange a time before you arrive.
*** BEDROOMS:
The house has 2 floors, each is about 120 m2. The upper floor has 4 spacious rooms of which two have balcony and two are very close to the rice terrace. The ground floor has some small rooms which include my own room and some rooms for solo guests. It also includes one set of table/chair and one set of sofa/table for guests to use.
*** KITCHEN: has a fridge and cooking facilities.I provide you with oil, salt, pepper, sugar and spices.
Please wash your dishes and cups and leave the kitchen tidy after preparing your food and eating.
You can shop in the local market for produce and, for a small fee, arrange to meet the butler to deliver your shopping bags to the house.
*** BATHROOMS
The house has 4 shared bathrooms outside of the main house. Two bathrooms are toilet only and two bathrooms have shower and sink. There are two extra sinks outside of these 4 bathrooms.Liquid hand-wash is provided. Please note, in Vietnam, I put toilet paper in the bin provided and DO NOT flush as it will block the pipe.
