“The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Croft Cottage, it really exceeded our expectations. The photos of it on the app really don’t do it justice! Very comfortable, spacious for a family of four and well equipped, very private and stunning views across the valley. It’s a perfect base for the southern end of the Dales and beyond. Wish we’d had more time to spend, but we will definitely be back in the future. ”

"I booked a triple room, but all the amenities provided were only for one person — one duvet, one towel, one cup, and one set of toiletries. This is clearly unacceptable for a triple room. I reported this to the reception and explained that it was not an urgent request, and I would be fine if the items could be delivered later in the evening. However, the staff showed a poor attitude, were unwilling to help, and simply replied that they were busy without taking any further action. On top of that, the room was dirty and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. This experience is extremely disappointing and far below expectations."
