Welcome to The Star @Frio River Resorts!

This custom-built 4 bed/2.5 bath home sleeps up to 18 and boasts upscale interior finishes and features your whole group will love.

Just along the 8th fairway of the Frio Valley Ranch golf course, The Star offers an expansive outdoor entertainment area including a private swimming pool, horseshoe pit, and oversized covered patio. Inside you'll find a large open concept kitchen, living and dining room with plenty of room for everyone to gather together.

Located less than 8 miles from Garner State Park and just a short drive to House Pasture for live music and dining or to the Frio Valley Ranch clubhouse for a round of golf, The Star is conveniently located near all the most popular Concan spots everyone wants to visit and enjoy.

Bedroom 1- sleeps 5 - 1 queen, 1 set of triple twin bunks
Bedroom 2 - sleeps 7 - 1 set of queen bunks, 1 set of triple twin bunks
Bedroom 3 - sleeps 4 - 1 king, 1 queen
Bedroom 4 - sleeps 2 - 1 queen bed

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:

LINENS: Bring sheets and pillowcases (basic bedding including mattress cover, pillows, and blanket are provided, sheets and pillowcases are not).

TOWELS: Bring bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, pool towels (no towels are provided).

PAPER GOODS: Bring paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, coffee filters. Your kitchen is equipped with dinnerware, silverware, drinking glasses, and basic cookware, but you may want to bring paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic ware.

We will provide a list of additional "what to bring" items after your booking payment is received.

Our 2nd Stay @ The Star

Always a fan of staying at this location! We will be booking next year, just hoping the check in time could be moved to (maybe) 2pm when the house is not occupied. And just a few slippery spots from wet feet on outdoor patio and interior floor (when having to enter and exit restroom from pool ).... would recommend having floor runners or waterproof mats....or recommend guest to bring . Other than this WE LOVE THE STAR

5 STARS for The Star @Frio Resorts!!!!!

We book a VRBO rental yearly, we put The Star @Frio Resorts at the TOP of the list. We have never had to BYOblankets, but was okay. The prep listing mentioned to almost bring everything under the sink (and we did) but the house is VERY stocked with Kitchen items!!!! The HOUSE layout is AMAZING! We enjoy this neighborhood, we have stayed in the area MANY times. We will book this house again for future visits!!! Thank you for having us! We will see you again!!!!

The Star

Property is Awesome it had everything we neede and more. We brought a few extra items like paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic silverware just to have but this house had plenty of dishes for us to use. Very nice house set up was perfect for me and my family.

The house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for our entire group. The kids enjoyed the pool. Only a short distance to the river. Would recommend to all who are looking for a great house in this area!!

Great home in lovely setting

The home was immaculate! It was stocked full of indoor and outdoor games for everyone to enjoy. The sound system was perfect for spending lots of time in the pool. Check in and check out were simple. We just weren't smart enough to figure out where the trash went and did not get a response when we called the office. We figured out there were trash bins the next day lol. The pool was very nice and the layout of the house had a much more "home" vibe than the pictures portrayed. When looking for the home, i would definitely use google earth, that was the only way we were able to figure it out.
