“We had a very pleasant stay at Les Grands Vignobles. Laurie was welcoming and friendly. The house was clean and tidy with all facilities you could want and we enjoyed the outside space with the view onto the vineyard. ”

“The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. We really enjoyed using the swimming pool and our youngest liked the swing in the tree! We had lots of BBQs. Only small niggle was that we were unable to find the toaster? Also not enough mugs,……

“This property is absolutely beautiful! Located in a quiet village in a region of rolling hills and vineyards. Closest little town is about 5 minutes away which is convenient for groceries. St. Emilion and all its offerings is a 20 minute drive. We found this to be a great spot to explore the Bordeaux region. Please note you will need a car. The house was very well equipped to make meals and spend hours of enjoyment in the garden/ pool or inside. While the rooms and bedrooms are all spacious……
