“Our family had the best time at this wonderful home. Gorgeously decorated in unbelievable scenic surroundings. We have stayed at multiple VRBO‘s and nothing compares to this one as far as cleanliness, things to do, and so very well stocked. Perfect!”

“Stayed 3 nights. Every day we learned more about this historic and quaint town. The home was generously equipped with essentials.Very comfy beds and very clean. Nice to have a parking spot - the stairs to get there were steep but doable. A”

“Beautiful view of Galena; historic home gave us a good feel for living well in the 1850s (except for modern conveniences); easy drive to downtown.We would not recommend this home if you need a walker, wheelchair, or other walking aids; parking in the back alley was a bit of a challenge for our mid-size SUV.Overall, we had a pleasant stay.”

“This was prefect for us. It is a nice walk into town, so there is no need to try and find a parking spot. Although on the main road through town, it is very quite and even with others in the home, we did not hear anyone else. ”

“House was nice, well kept, clean. Locatation was fantastic. The walk to the main road where the stores and resturaunts are is really not bad, just involves some steps. The house really has a country feel to it, even though you have neighbors close by. The surrounding woods give you the rural feeling and we saw so many deer on and around the property. I really had no communication with the property manager so I cant comment of that but did not need to, everything was perfect. Only issue I……

“This place is amazing. So much fun to "hang out" there, we almost didn't want to see the sites of Galena (but we did). Beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great, a short easy walk (half mile) to the middle of Main St. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Lovely little house a short walk to shops and restaurants. Very nice amenities. Only issue was the parking, but that's going to be the case for any property in the area. Would stay again! ”

“Such a unique, cozy and peaceful place to stay. The views from the back are absolutely gorgeous! Close to downtown which is also a huge plus! They have done a great job transforming this old church to a modern place to stay. Can’t wait to stay there again! ”
