“The house is in a beautiful spot, looking out over a verdant manicured lawn sloping down to the jungle and then ultimately out to the ocean far below. Monkeys visit the property daily. “Lovely hotel, beautiful beach, excellent restaurant on site. Excellent room, but no elevators. Staff is nice as are all the people of this lovely, rural island. I would have appreciated more assistance with activities, rather than an invite to hear about how to buy a condo there. Cons: No reliable public transportation suitable for tourism. “This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors). “This property is second to none. It is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places we have ever stayed. Very private and you practically have the beach to yourself. The Pavilion area is such a cool vibe with the pool and restaurant right there to use as well. Very close to the Hyatt and many other bars/restaurants. “Facing the Atlantic Ocean, I can hear the sound of waves lulling me to sleep at night, which helps me sleep very well. While the location is a bit distant from the city center, it's highly recommended for those who enjoy tranquility.
