But you ask, 'what's Fripp Island like??' It's a beautiful, pristine private resort sea island set up for quiet, relaxing FAMILY vacations. At Fripp, the beaches are never crowded and you can be certain your kids will have a great time. 3.5 miles long, the entire island is a wildlife sanctuary and has an abundance of birds, deer, dolphins, sea turtles & much more.

Our Tide Water Blue Bonito Drive Bungalow is located in the heart of Fripp Island's Ocean Creek neighborhood, which includes 4 swimming pools, the Cabana Club with the tropical-themed pool complex and Davis Love's Ocean Creek golf course.

Take our 4 person complimentary golf cart to the beach, golf courses, tennis courts, marina and Veranda Beach pool complex, or just cruise around the island. No matter where you go, Ocean Creek has all the fun amenities for you and your family to enjoy during a quiet, relaxing vacation.

The house sits on the 17th fairway of the Ocean Creek Golf Course. At one end of Bonito Drive is the beach, usable at all tides. The Marina is at the other end. We are about halfway between the beach and the Marina. Boat owners, bring your boat and have the Marina launch it. In the evenings, don't forget to relax on the rear master bedroom porch.

Turn on the ceiling fan, grab a seat, freshen up your beverage of choice and watch the sun set over the marsh. This is why you decided to vacation on Fripp Quiet, relaxing low country beauty, all at your fingertips.

The house offers extras like hardwood floors, plantations shutters, a decorative fireplace and a jetted master tub. Don't forget, we provide you with a free golf cart during your stay. It's our small way of thanking you for selecting our bungalow for your vacation.

The large great room leads out onto a rear screened deck, with back yard access, overlooking the golf course, marsh and creek. The lower deck also has an outdoor dining table for 6....This is the perfect spot to enjoy a low country boil and admire all the deer that visit. The top of the golf course....just 40 steps from the house, is also the best spot to watch the sunset. It is our favorite.

The bedrooms are set up as a king master suite with a jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower and TV, a queen bedroom(2nd Master) with a full bath and TV, 2 twin beds in bedroom 3 with TV. One roll away bed (which fits nicely in either upstairs bedroom).

Our family has been visiting the island for more than 18 years. We have fallen in love with Fripp & we are certain you will too!

YOUR RENTAL INCLUDES FREE USE OF (1) four PERSON ELECTRIC GOLF CART(a $325 value) . We provide our guests with extra amenities worth over $320 when compared to renting through the Resort or from Fripp Island Excursions. All stays will have a $215 Cleaning Fee.

Rates do not include Fripp Amenity Cards-They are available for purchase & allow access to all Fripp Club activities. Amenity cards are necessary to gain access to all Fripp restaurants, fitness center, pools, tennis & 2 golf courses.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund is granted for a cancellation 90 days before arrival. A 2/3 refund is given for a cancellation between 60 and 90 days of arrival. A 1/3 refund is granted for cancellations between 30 and 60 days before arrival except during March through September, that is non refundable. There will be no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival at any time. However, if we can re-rent your rental period, all monies will be refunded less a $100 processing fee.

Fripp first timers!

We just wrapped up our first trip to Fripp for our son’s spring break and I have to say, we are believers! What a hidden gen! Bonito Bungalow was THE PERFECT place for us. Barbie and Matt have done an incredible job of making it a “pretty place” to call home away from home. Comfy furniture & beds, beautiful decor, and THE CUTEST PORCH SITTING you can imagine made our stay so special. We ate every meal at the lovely dining table on the screened porch. It was my favorite part of the home. As hosts, they reached out multiple times prior to and during our stay to make sure we were all set and answer any questions we might have had. Communication with an owner has never been so easy. The house is stocked with a lot of the essentials so we were able to leave our beach towels, chairs, and umbrella at home which made packing so much easier! The golf cart provided was high quality and worked great as well. The entire process was seamless and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Our son is 15 years old and I’d say this island is perfect for that age group if anyone is wondering. We will definitely be back!

Beach Bliss With All The Extras

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming beach bungalow! The decor was thoughtful and cozy, and the layout was surprisingly spacious—plenty of room to relax and unwind without ever feeling cramped. The peaceful vibe throughout the house was exactly what we needed. It didn’t feel like a rental at all—more like staying at a friend’s beautifully cared-for beach home. Everything was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the soft, plush bath towels were such a nice touch. We also loved having the included golf cart—it made beach trips and exploring the area so easy and fun. Everything about this place felt welcoming, warm, and well loved. And to top it all off, the host was fantastic—super responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Beach Vaca Perfection!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonito Bungalow!! The house is so serene, from the color palette and decor, the porches, the comfy furnishings. The location on Fripp couldn’t be beat. A quick trip on the provided golf cart to get to the beach or any other island attractions. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, lovely family vacation. Family Spring Break for College kids

The location on Fripp Island was amazing. The area was beautiful and such a nice change from a typical beach spring break. Seeing deer everywhere was so fun and then alligators. The beach was pristine. I am sure this place is even more amazing during the summer when more venues are open. The golf cart was a nice addition. We made many memories in the home we stayed at. What a great location.

Wonderful stay!

We had the best long weekend spent here! It was a very clean property, had a great layout, was right on the golf course, and had everything we needed! House is fully stocked and has extra supplies included unlike most rentals. The golfcart being provided was a huge bonus, and communication with Barbie and Matt was top notch! This home exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely book here again!

First time at Fripp

This was our first time visiting Fripp Island 8/3 - 8/10. Unfortunately Tropical Storm Debby kept us inside for a few days but our rental house was so beautiful and comfortable it made it so much more pleasant to be stuck inside. The house was so nice and clean and had everything we needed. Location was great - right down from the beach and near the marina. I can’t say enough good things about the owners. Barbie was so helpful and responsive to any questions or needs that came up during our stay. I would definitely recommend this house and would stay there again which says a lot because I can be very particular about places I’d stay.

Family Fripp Trip

We have been coming to Fripp for years now but this was our first time staying at the Bonito Bungalow and we all agreed it was our favorite house we've stayed in! The house is beautiful & stocked with everything you could possibly need - including a golf cart which is a HUGE bonus. Barbie was the best host and was so easy to communicate with. Wonderful Fripp Island

Spent a wonderful week at Bonita Bungalow. Very bright, well appointed, beautiful home in our most favorite place, Fripp Island. Can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with Barbie. She was attentive to any question or need that arose. House has all the comforts of home. Very nice linens, comfortable beds and a great screened in porch with a view of the 17th hole of Ocean Creek Golf Course. Deer visit daily & we were lucky enough to have 2 females Bring their babies with them. Golf cart provided with rental So enjoyed lots of cart rides to the beach & other points of interest in the beautiful place. Looking forward to a return trip to Bonita Bungalow.

Very serene location, loved the screened porch

The property was lovely and fresh. I was there with my puppy. Wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed the surroundings more. Only suggestion would be do your food shopping at the Publix on the highway in as selection is very poor at the local store. I wish the amenity package I paid for had been included with the package I received from the gate as I came in. Weather was so poor I didn't pursue it.

Beautiful Island Retreat

My teenage daughter and I had a mother/ daughter trip with 3 other mother/ daughters and stayed at the Bonito Bungalow. It was a great location and we had a fun time. A couple things that were not well represented - 1. there is not a hot tub as the listing says. Rather, there is a large whirlpool tub in the Master. 2. The listing says it sleeps 8, and it really sleeps 6 in regular beds then a roll away bed for one. You can fit an 8th if you put 3 people in the King bed in Master suite. 3. We added on the amenity cards ($25 card became $44 with all the fees) and then so many of the "extras" were closed until later in the season. This was disappointing. It was nice to have the golf cart to drive around the island; however, it was difficult to connect to the charger each night as you'd have to move a car out of the garage, thus move the car in the driveway, to get to the charger. It would be nice if the golf cart could be charged near the garage door so we didn't have to move cars around every time. Overall, we still had a fun time. The owner was responsive and everything was clean. The short walk to the gold course behind the house to watch the sunset was amazing!

Spring Break 2024

Spent a relaxing five nights at Fripp. Enjoyed long walks on the beach, several times each day. Our springer spaniel took full advantage of her time at the beach, made a few friends and wore herself out running and swimming. My son fished from the shore, was a bit disappointed that the pier was closed. Didn’t get to use our amenity cards very much, my 19 year old wasn’t allowed to use the adult pool area but we did order some takeout from the restaurant at the marina. Good grilled shrimp and nachos. Tried dinner one night but wouldn’t recommend, new owners are working out kinks in menu and service. Mangos was good for sandwiches. Java Joes was a disappointment coffee machine wasn’t cooperating. Would be nice if there was a good coffee shop nearby. Enjoyed the Hunting Island State park and trip into Beaufort! Golf cart made trips to the beach a breeze. Definitely wasn’t prepared for the noseeems! Got eaten alive at the golf course!!! Overall it was a great break with excellent family time.

Nice place to get away

Great spot to enjoy the beach, walk the many paths and trails, and enjoy some golf. House has everything you need and the golf cart was a great way to scoot around the island. The scenery and manicured grounds on the island are top notch as well.
