“This was a great property and I would rent this exact property again. It’s a duplex type setup. The inside was more than expected, especially for the price. The outside could use some tlc, but it’s all cosmetic. There’s a Walmart nearby, but I did wish there was a food establishment in walking distance, as I didn’t have a vehicle.
I will say that a friend rented another unit from this same company, but their unit was in a different neighborhood and a neighbor in that neighborhood had a loud……

“Thank you for sharing your property with us! We had magnificent views—- including a full double rainbow 😍 the space was comfortable and clean and perfect for a long weekend getaway. We were able to easily access our boat to spend time on Cayo costa, lunch on cabbage key and a dip in the pool at the N. Captiva club. We didn’t need to use the bunk house, but would be perfect if we brought the kids! Thank you!!”

“Really great to see property coming back to life after getting hit hard by hurricane Ian a few years ago. The room I stayed in was brand new and very nice. Staff was polite, responsive, and helpful. Great pool area with plenty of seating, drink/food service at your chairs, and the kids loved the water slide. The hibachi restaurant on property was a lot of fun as well.”

“Matlaca is a beautiful little town. It feels so old Florida. Everything is in walking distance from these tiny homes which are so cute and so adorable. Everything was ready for us upon our arrival. “My husband and I stayed mid-March for 7 days. The weather cooperated and it was sunny and mid-70’s all week! The Ibis cottage was perfect for the two of us and it was far enough away from the commerce area that it was peaceful and quiet. We never ran out of activities and excursions mixed in with beach days. It was very helpful to have the Tradewinds beach available as all the other beaches were challenging to find parking. If there was any downside to our stay it was the lack of laundry……

“This was a great stay! We definitely spent the most time at the pool and backyard, grilling a few times and enjoying the short walk to the beach to catch the sunset. Ft Myers is rebuilding so there wasn’t much to walk to so we ubered down to the main area near the harbor and marinas. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops there. It was a great family getaway. ”

“From the moment we walked in at Villagoona, we felt at home! This is hands-down the best vacation rental we have stayed at. “The place was within walking distance to the beach and awesome shelling. The unit was nice but I wouldn’t stay there with kids due to many spindles being missing from the staircase. “We had a delightful long weekend here in May 2025. Our room had been recently been renovated and was just lovely. We were very close to the pool but our room was very quiet. We used the Keurig and mini fridge. Staff was very helpful including maintenance and Tiki bar staff. We loved having direct access to the beach and that chairs were supplied.
