“We stayed at this cabin for a full week and had an amazing time. It was tucked away and on a beautiful piece of property. We drove to town (15-30 min depending on where we went) for some good restaurants and sightseeing. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Mr. Doug was a great host and we had everything we needed. “Our stay was great. The cabin is well appointed and was pretty clean. There was some random deep cleaning that could be done but I’m just being picky. The only real complaint I would have is the beds. Again, I’m probably just being picky, but after 4 nights my back is a little tense. I would still give this a near perfect rating and will stay here again in the future. Thanks to our gracious host. ”

“A wonderful little cabin in a beautiful setting. Every amenity provided. Clean. Comfortable. Swim spa is an added luxury. An enclosed front porch and covered back porch with lots of comfy seating. A super location. 10 mins from a brewery, distillery,and winery. Super host. We enjoyed it all.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Ponderosa cabin. It’s a log cabin so electric outlets are scarce. The cabin is off of the main road by about 9 miles of small twisting paved roads making nighttime driving a challenge. A really nice setting for a relaxing few days. Gary is very accommodating. ”

“Tiny but cute and suited our needs. I thought itd be closer to Holiday World (we passed 3 other campgrounds that were closer) but it was quiet and clean. Only thing is i wished you could swim in the water or that there was a playground for the kids. The cabin itself was very nice and no complaints with it. ”

“Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot! ”
