“If you love airplanes then this is the place. It’s a pilots dream. Fantastic art work and prints. A C-47 cockpit no less. Room was fine, comfortable, lots of stairs to floor 1. Would stay agin for sure. The owner was very nice.”

“we had a lovely time with Cecile and family. The house and its grounds are beautiful, quiet and with a lovely warm pool and play area for the kids. You will need a car to get about, although the peaceful location was why we picked here, and there are lots of picturesque villages and attractions within easy reach. Cecile and her husband are the best hosts I've ever met, going above and beyond for us given our complete hopelessness in knowing any french, helping us to learn some of the language as……

“We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect—a great spot to see the D-Day beaches and take trips to Mount Saint Michel, Saint-Malo, and Falaise. Our room was lovely, breakfast was excellent, and we felt welcome and very comfortable. It was a very charming place, exactly what we needed. Wewould very much recommend it. ”

“This is a true manor. The hostess is the sweetest as they come. Breakfast was delicious and filling - fresh and again delicious! We had a lovely stay and wish we had more time to speak with the hostess/owner - we would have loved to learn more about the history of the manor itself. ”

“They did not tell me that the roads were up around the village and it was impossible to get to the place . This was a DDay night before stay so it was emotionally important couldn’t if get them by phone . Went to tourist info and they told me it was impossible after 2 hours of trying . Luckily I managed to get a cancellation in Caen as all hotels were sold out , if we hadn’t we would have had to sleep in our car . Awful ”

“Generally good hotel few minutes away from the city center of Cabourg and from the seaside. Polite and helpful staff. The bathroom deserve to be deep cleaned (lavabo, toilets, shower) as well as the wall to be deep washed. Breakfast deserves better quality (scramble eggs definitely industrial and dry, pancake machine is a toy,...) Those details that are putting us away from "prestige"”
