Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, which gives you the comfort to walk to restaurants, bakeries, butchery, souvenir shops, seafood market in just a few seconds.

The house has a capacity of 8 guests but we welcome family of 2 and more

There are 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, one single restroom (ground floor), a new kitchen, 2 living rooms, one Italian shower, one bathtub, a utility room, comfortable sofas, front and back terraces (facing the church), outdoor tables and chairs.

We provide kitchen supplies, bathroom towels and bedding sheets. To make sure you receive a five star experience, a Smart TV and Wifi are included.
Also, we can help you find your way to Normandy.

Come discover our fully renovated holiday home in 2019, located in the heart of the Battle of Normandy. Located just 6 kilometers from Utah Beach, 30 minutes from the American Cemetery and Memorial Colleville-sur-Mer.

The house can accommodate up to 8 guests but groups from 2 people are accepted!

The house is located in the center of Saint-Marie-du-Mont, which will give you access to restaurants, bakery, souvenir shop, church, in a few minutes.
At the level of the house (Just in front of the church), it includes 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet on the ground floor, a brand new kitchen team, a living room, shower Italian style, a laundry room, comfortable sofas, 2 outdoor courtyards (one facing the church and a privatized) will bring you 5-star comfort.

The supply of cooking utensils is included as well as bath towels and bedding.
A Wifi connection and a smart-TV will bring you maximum comfort.
The owner can happily help you organize / fine tune your itineraries, your transport so that you can better discover our beautiful region.

If French is not your first language, we can guide you in English and Dutch.

We have agreed that our house will make you have a wonderful holiday full of memories.

This is an excellent house. Clean, lot's of space, and nice BBQ :-) The only dis-advantage where, specially by the kids, are the church bells. Some people might call them authentic, other people might call them lovely. My kids would use words as "to early, to loud." 7.00 o'clock is to early for them. However, they where still able to get out of bed late :-) It is a nice place to stay, a nice authentic village with two bakeries in the neighborhood.

House renovated to high standard - perfect location close to the beach and local small shops Hosts were welcoming and friendly I would stay again and highly recommend Just to note the house is in front of a church that rang bells but we didn’t mind one but it was beautiful

This house was our base for exploring the history behind WW2 as well as enjoying the outdoors in the region i.e. walking, cycling and kayaking. It was such a fabulous experience from start to finish. Eric very kindly met us on arrival, and showed us all around the very beautiful refurbished historical town house. There was so much room in the house, with a big kitchen, and a surprise bonus of an unstairs sitting room which our kids used as a play roo. During our stay. The house also has a utility room and a little small garage area which was very convenient for storing our bikes. The bakery around the corner has delicious food and the 2 restaurants in the village have great food. Be careful to book. Its a short drive to Utah beach where you can walk for miles, as well as visit all the world war 2 sites. Le Bar du 6 juin was also a highlight. The staff were very nice and it was a convenient shop also for basic groceries. We had a brilliant holiday!

Dieses tolle Ferienhaus befindet sich mitten im historischen Dorfkern von Sainte Marie du Mont und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Kleinere Lädchen für den täglichen Bedarf befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut und unkompliziert mit dem Auto/Rad erreichbar. Ein herzliches Dankeschön auch nochmal an die tollen Vermieter. Hier stimmte von der Buchung bis zur Abreise einfach alles. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

This was the perfect place to enjoy the 78th anniversary of D-Day! Eric and Sylvie were very gracious host and made us feel especially welcomed in their town. Perfect for two couples or a large family. Recently renovated kitchen and open living area were the perfect gathering spot. Had a convenient outdoor sitting area and new windows added lots of natural light. Very short walk to nearby bakery and restaurants.

Une propriété vraiment bien rénovée … toutes les commodités proposées sont vraiment super (draps de lit, draps de bain …) jamais eu de soucis d eau chaude ni de chauffage …. Après 10ans de location en famille, nous sommes rarement tombés sur une maison aussi chouette. Les photos reflètent parfaitement bien la Réalité Beaucoup de choses à voir aux alentours … il faudrait y rester 2 semaines … Accueil très sympa, bref une hospitalité à la Belge ;-) Tout grand merci à vous et nos meilleurs vœux !!!

Nous avons passé 4 jours dans cette maison à 2 couples et 4 enfants pour visiter les plages du débarquement. Elle est parfaitement équipée, décoration agréable et récente, de l’espace pour tout le monde. Très bonne literie, 2 salles de bains parfaites avec linge fourni. Espace extérieur avec barbecue. Proprietaire très sympathique et arrangeant. La situation dans le village est très agréable : petits commerces autour à pied. A conseiller +++

Gîte absolument conforme à la description, propre et rénové avec des matériaux de qualité. Merci à Eric pour son accueil sympathique. Willy le boucher du coin vend de bons produits et la petite épicerie du village est très pratique pour un court séjour. Visites dans le coin l’incontournable cimetière Américain et les plages du débarquement mais aussi les jolis ports de Saint Vaast la Hougue et Barfleur.

Beautiful property, very neat and fully stocked with necessities. Great kitchen which is perfect to cater from. Adequate space for 8 people to sleep. Bakery is 20 seconds away and property opens right on to the central village church. Very historic, highly recommended.

Accueil très chaleureux pour une maison qui ne l’est pas moins. Bien équipée, bien décorée et très agréable. Le village est également très plaisant. Essayez surtout la petite boulangerie au coin de la rue ! Les cloches de la magnifique église donnent un charme unique à l’endroit. Emplacement parfait à quelques minutes d’Utah beach et à quelques kilomètres d’Omaha. Excellent séjour !

Dit is een heerlijk vakantiehuis. Het ligt midden in het dorp naast de kerk met een bakker om de hoek. We vonden het super gezellig om hier te 'wonen'. We werden welkom geheten door Eric, de zeer aardige eigenaar die heel behulpzaam is en van alles kan vertellen over de omgeving. Het huis is heel mooi ingericht en heel modern met een schitterende keuken en fijne badkamers. We zouden er wel willen wonen! Vanuit het plaatsje kun je alle D-day bezienswaardigheden bezoeken en daarnaast is het aan te raden om naar de oostkust in het noorden te gaan en Granville te bezoeken.

Dit vakantiehuis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De vaatwasser, wasmachine, wasdroger en twee luxe badkamers waren heel fijn! Bij de bakker om de hoek haalden we elke morgen heerlijke verse broodjes. Voor het Franse dorpsgevoel konden we dagelijks genieten van de kerkklokken. Het huis ligt 6 km van Utah Beach, een prachtig strand. De nieuwe film 3D Experience is een absolute aanrader, 5 minuten van de vakantiewoning. Kortom, genoeg te beleven in de omgeving!

Wij zijn hier 5 nachten geweest rondom de jaarwisseling met een gezelschap van 7 personen. Het is een mooi, net, gezellig huis en voorzien van alle gemakken. Wij waren met 5 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (3 en 5 jaar) en hebben het erg leuk gehad. Ook voor 8 volwassenen is er voldoende ruimte. Er zijn 2 bakkers in het dorp en er is ook een restaurant, allemaal op loopafstand. Verder is in de omgeving veel te zien en bezoeken over D-day maar ook Mont st. Michel is in de buurt en zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Wij hebben ons prima vermaakt en zouden dit huis zeker aanraden als je op zoek bent naar een mooie verblijfplaats voor een weekje weg in Normandië.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis (4 couples) le descriptif de la maison correspond parfaitement à l'annonce sur Abritel, la maison à de très bonnes prestations et en plus de qualité, (saine et agréable) la cuisine super équipée et très fonctionnelle. Les chambres sont aussi très agréables et les lits bien douillets. La situation géographique de cette maison, nous as permis de faire des visites très intéressantes. nous retiendrons Sainte mère l'église et Arromanches (muséum) le cimetière Américain et allemand, la pointe du HOC et D DAY Pour le reste c'est le temps qui nous a manqué. Merci A Sylvie pour nos échanges par mail et à ERIC pour son Accueil à notre arrivée. a très bientôt, l'équipe des jeunes retraités.

Nous avons passé un séjour entre amis. Trois couples et deux enfants. Nous avons trouvé la maison très confortable, spacieuse bien équipée, bien décorée. Et très propre. Nous avons apprécié que les lits soient faits et le linge de toilette mis à disposition. La situation géographique est intéressante, proche de la plage, joli village, belle eglise., belle campagne. Et proche des lieux de souvenirs du débarquement. Nous recommandons cette location. Sabine et Nicolas F.
