Rather than getting a hotel we usually opt for a short term rental so that we can enjoy some family time in the same space.This house was a perfect fit for our needs. The host, Tammie was very thoughtful in making sure everything was neat, clean and accommodating. She also took the extra steps of providing the little extras that made the space feel like home.The patio and yard……

“Shannon was an excellent host! She responded very quickly which wasn't often as anything you would need was in the house. We had our pet with us and we took her just down the road to Greensport Campground for walks. We enjoyed the screened in porch to eat meals or sit and read in the evenings. We would definitely stay here or at one of Shannon's other properties as she is such a host! greathost!host!host!wedefhere.”

“We were visiting our daughter at Jacksonville State University. This house was in a quiet location but close enough to campus so that we could walk there. The house had all of the essentials that we needed and was neat and clean. ”

“The house was very clean and is well maintained. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Pretty views of the river and is in a quiet location. My only complaint is that there was only a half a roll of paper towels and only one extra trash bag and we were there for 4 days, not a big deal though. Overall, great place to stay!”
