“A cozy cabin with all the essentials but running water AKA Dry. Comfortable queen bed, pull out couch and a loft with couple of coats which we did not need or used. Small fridge and microwave. Chuck had a freezer in the cabin and allowed us to store our salmon during the stay. Chuck and Dorothy were gracious in setting up a propane cook top outside and also provided a pot, pan, dishes and cutlery which were perfect for the two of us making breakfast and dinner. “Very nice stay. It’s a cabin, but very comfortable with excellent views of the river in a quiet location. The cabin was well stocked with everything and more than we expected. “Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!”
