“Beautiful view across lake to park! Clean house and plenty of amenities! Huge plus to staying here as a family was having three bedrooms so everyone had their own room and 2 and a half bathrooms! Would highly recommend this place! Only thing is to be careful if sitting in the rocking chairs outside by the fire pit… they look pretty but we sat in one and leaned back to relax and the chair filled over backwards!”

“Pros: The location was great and the view of the lake was beautiful. That and the cabin being pet friendly was our reason for staying here. The size was perfect for two. It was really nice having the Keurig and washer and dryer. Host was very responsive and tried to resolve the heating issue below and we are very thankful for this! He did reimburse us for the cost of a portable heater. Now some cons: The freezer did not work but the just did send us a note the day before. The heated floors in……

“Our stay was wonderful. The house was exactly how it was described and pictured. Our family enjoyed everything about Waterford and Detroit. We enjoyed fishing off the Pier at night and caught mainly bass. We even used the kayak and paddleboards provided. The only downfall of the trip was the Geese. They typically showed up when we left for the day and the yard was usually a mess when we came back. But we found the pooper scooper in the shed and cleaned it up. Not much you can do about……

“The biggest problem we had was the property description on VRBO was not accurate. Instead of 3 queen size beds a futon and a spa tub, the property had 2 full size beds and 2 full size futons and a small shower. However, as you read through the description you noticed this. Once I informed the owner of the inaccuracy, it was corrected quickly. The place was clean. It is definitely a cottage style inside. The furniture in the common area with the TV was not very comfortable because the cushions……
