The setting is beautiful and front desk staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms are quiet with a nice, gas fireplace for heating. There is a small, private patio for each room. The breakfast buffet was delicious and refilled promptly by friendly staff.
There was grout missing where the bathroom counter met the floor which was filthy; someone had dropped a pill which was caught in the crevice. We had to use our cell phones to call for assistance as the phone in the room, and TV, did not work. Assistance was prompt and left us with a working TV and cleared the pill from the bathroom.
The bartender did not greet us as we entered nor did he smile the entire 90 minutes we were there. He perfunctorily took our drink and food order. When my husband ordered pie for dessert, the bartender walked away without asking me if I would like anything (I did).
We do not plan on staying or dining at The Oregon Garden Resort again, although we do plan on returning to The Oregon Garden and exploring and dining in nearby Silverton, Oregon.
