“The location of this hotel is hard to beat. The staff on rexeption were extremely welcoming. The hotel is decorated with a touch of luxury. The bed in the Bridge Suite was huge! Nice balncony over looking the river. Restaurant is lovely although a little pricey. Breakfast was great and the view feom the restaurant is beautiful. Would definitely return. ”

“Lovely room above the main pub. The room is quite small and would benefit from some storage solutions for things like suitcases and towels. I would also say it needs some artwork on the bedrooms walls! That being said, it is very stylishly done and the pub is very nice with good food. I would certainly recommend! ”

“This was a one night stay for work. I was in room 8. Met by Jaqueline, who text at the start of the day to ask what time I was arriving and then called me when I was 6 minutes away. Breakfast (included in the price of room) is not served until 7:30am, so I could not have it due to my work commitment - would be useful to post breakfast times on post for venue. “Can not fault my staff at The George Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was only a 15 minute walk into city centre. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.”
