“We liked how clean rooms were. Deco was a bit flashy but not bad. Bed was too soft and sunk in the middle and hurt our backs. Water for shower was hot but water pressure was weak. Hot tub was great and clean but wish it opened earlier than noon. Breakfast was kind of gross, especially the scrambled eggs and sausage. Good location, safe, friendly staff. No problems really.”

“Cute place. Nice update and remodel without destroying all the great things about this type of classic motel, beginning with no stairs to climb. Just unload your car. The room was clean but an alcohol wipe on the TV remote might have gotten a tiny bit of grime off. Blackout shades would be a useful update. Like all places, it needs an over-the-air TV antenna so guests can watch local TV (not sure how well that works in mountain towns, though). I’m no fan of Hulu. ”

“We had a great time, Tony was great with any questions we had and the place was perfect for our Ski Trip. 1/2 hr from monarch and only a hop skip and jump from downtown Salida. Would definitely stay again.”

“It was as comfortable as visiting a relative's home. The hygiene was very clean and tidy, spotless. The mattress, bedding and towels were very comfortable and soft. All the necessities were provided. Fresh blueberry muffins and coffee were provided for the morning. ”
