“This hotel is incredibly beautiful from the moment you set eyes on it. For a station to be so big in such a small village is surprising but the way it has been lovingly restored to such as high standard is stunning. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English, to the point where they helped put us on a tour of the historic station that day spoken in Spanish but with a bit of English from the guide. Definitely a must visit! ”

“Reception were very welcoming and shared information about the area. Check-in was swift. Parking was easy. Room was a good size with lots of wardrobe space and a safe was available. Shower over bath, needed a little tlc re blackening of the sealant - care needed in the shower as water can suddenly run very hot. Set times for booking in the restaurant - not a problem. The food was absolutely amazing in all aspects - presentation and so delicious - we made compliments to the chef each……

“This property is clearly not at its best during what we discovered only after we arrived as their "off-season." The restaurant was closed, even though we were told it would be open during the weekend. It was difficult to find anything fully open. Our thoughts about our stay were compounded by very cool, very wet, and very overcast weather conditions. We do not recommend visiting this area after mid-September!”
