For such a great rating on Expedia I had high expectations. Unfortunately everything about this location was poor.
Starting with the mattress. The sheets did not seem to be washed. Upon further inspection the mattress and mattress cover were stained, and not in a natural wear kind of way. There was a sticky candy substance behind the mattress.
Next was clientele. We were one of the only cars in the parking lot, but there was unusual amount of foot traffic coming and going from a few rooms. It was uncomfortable and not conducive to a family environment. From the minute you walked into the rooms you could smell what I can only describe as someone trying to cover up the aftermath of smoking illegal substances.
We would like a refund through Expedia, but I doubt that will happen. Also, some of the pictures for this motel location are inaccurate. The lobby does not look like the pictures.
We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else within 30 minutes of inspecting the room.
