“This property was just as quiet and close to nature as we had hoped. Even with a music festival running for three days 2 km up the road, we heard nothing, the tiny house being in a deep dip. We had a beautiful deer and small black bear visit over the course of our stay. There is a viewing platform level with the tops of the fir trees up the steep hillside. “This house and property exceeded our expectations. The house isn’t visible from the road and the property is a hidden gem in the little town of Ymir. We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. “We really enjoyed the property. There are short hikes around the property, that you can link up to longer hikes if you choose. About 20 minutes from Nelson. There are a few cabins on the property, but very private and not all too close to each other. It was very quiet and easy to get to more urban areas if you choose. We stayed here with two adults and our 5 year old and all had a great time. We will definitely come back and highly recommend. It's not for everyone, but if you like being a bit……
