“Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet……

“Peaceful and quiet.. very relaxing with a few thoughtfull amenities. They left us wood for the fire pit and they had kayaks, a canoe, and a bunch of games and books. The creek flows right past the balcony. We felt like we were miles away from everything and yet the busy town of mill hall and lock haven are just 10 min away.”

“This is a lovely unit, perfect for 2. Comfy queen bed, open floor plan, everything you need in the kitchen for 2 days or 2 weeks!Beautiful rural setting handy to lots of Central PA sites! I look forward to staying again. ”

“Great location for fishing, or if you love the outdoors. Swimming, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and even cave tours all close by. Grocery market within 10 minutes if you need to pick something up. House was better than expected, clean, had everything we needed to cook our meals and ‘live’ for the week. Great fishing out front, easy access to the creek. ”

“This A frame house was amazing. The owner paid excellent attention to detail and made the whole experience (even in dead of winter…) really enjoyable! Will be staying there again!”

“This cabin is located in a very quiet, peaceful area, which is fantastic for decompressing and relaxing. Keep in mind that it is a bit of a drive if you're looking for restaurants or shopping. Cell service is poor, as to be expected in the mountains, but there is wifi in the cabin with a strong signal. The cabin itself is very clean amd comfortable. You're renting the bottom level, while the host lives in the top level via a separate entrance. He is very kind and we didn't even notice him there……

“Nice 2 bedroom with a loft for the kids. New condition. Super clean and quiet. We received a bunch of rain on the first day of our planned camping trip. This was a perfect place to stay for a night on a moment’s notice before heading into the Bald Eagle State Forest. ”

“We enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful and picturesque setting in the Pine Creek Valley, close to stores and restaurants and right along the Pine Creek Valley Rails to Trails. Well equipped kitchen and spacious living and sleeping quarters. Great value accommodation! Looking forward to returning!”
