Amongst the trees, away from it all and at the end of a long private driveway sits Garden Cottage; even though you feel completely secluded you are close to the ocean, parks, maybe stop by one or all of the many gourmet farm stands in the area, just enjoy the deck and the trees or in 18 minutes be at the famous Saturday market and all that Ganges has to offer.

Michael, the stay was very peaceful, beautiful and restorative. The house has lovely windows and is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. The various working and relaxation areas were excellently equipped with everything needed for comfort, creating exciting beverages and snacks, as well as, a lovely area for serious vacation reading with toes up and chatty reviews of the day. The soft colours, layering of exquisite rugs and lovely groupings of fine art invited us to pause, take a breath and relax. The wrap around deck/porch was enjoyable always, but, especially just after dawn during the bird duets, whilst doing morning stretches. The trees were gorgeous and the quietude was robust as needed. The only suggestion would be that black out curtains be added in the main floor bedroom for those who are light sleepers or for those who need a blackened room for sleep to come. The lodge was located in a unique place, secluded in a woody area with a lovely garden. It has a large deck creating possibilities for a lovely morning breakfast, reading a book, enjoying the view of the garden or a long dinner in the evening (Summer time of course)

Private and Peaceful.

This cottage is a gem, private and peaceful, had an enjoyable time, beds were super comfortable, cottage was well equipped with a full kitchen and lovely deck with forest/garden outlook. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

Salt Spring gem

Beautiful well maintained property. It was so quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed relaxing on the patio in the afternoon. The beds were comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed for our stay.

If you are looking to escape the city noise look no further. This cottage and its location defines tranquility. It was so peaceful and relaxing at this cabin. On the deck you can hear a variety of bird songs and the occasioanl bleep of the goats. The deck is enclosed as is a small back yard which was perfect for our dog to run around after being on leash most of the day. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The sleeping spaces were clean and comfortable. We adored this place and found ourselves wanting to spend time away from ganges and the busy downtown core and spend more time relaxing in this hidden oasis.

Tranquil forest getaway

The cottage was very peaceful and relaxing, we only stayed one night but all wished it were more. We didn't meet Michael, but communicated with his via the chat. It was a very warm day so was quite hot when we arrived, but Michael made sure to open all the windows to let a breeze in and we were all comfortable.
