“After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too”

“We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again ”

“The property was spacious, clean and in good condition. It was in a very peaceful countryside setting with views of the sea from upstairs. The peace and quiet was very welcome as Cornwall is often very busy and it was nice to come back to in the evenings. Also having a swimming pool on site was a big bonus and the reason we booked. On the down side, my husband and I only had 2 bath towels each for the whole trip of 9 days. The booklet said that these would be changed half way through but this……

“The property is clean and well maintained there are a significant amount of steps to get to it (I counted 62 in all) but the views at the top are worth it. One word of warning though, I found out to my dismay that there was no network coverage at the property so you can't access the email containing your key code to get in the property when you arrive so make a note of it beforehand. I didn't and had to walk back down all those steps to the main car park to get reception and access the email……

“The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! ”

“Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow).”

“Well equipped for a compact unit, quiet and peaceful location but within easy access of lovely walks on Bodmin moor and around the tiny country lanes Hosts on hand for information on surrounding local area. Small enclosed garden area which was ideal for the dog Very relaxing weekend break”

“Lovely little lodge in the heart of cawsand bay, the locals were all wonderful and we really enjoyed exploring the area and all along the coast. I would highly recommend if you want a few days away from the hustle and bustle of city life!”

“What a fabulous property in a gorgeous area. There’s not much around but the beach and walks are plentiful, there’s a great pub and nearby Looe is lovely.The house itself was fabulous. Hot tub was clean and hot and such a treat. All the beds and facilities were top notch! ”
