“This place is a little gem! It's small and rustic but immaculate and Isobel has thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable. There is space for a car if you're driving (although I brought my bike!) The cottage sits at the back of the owners property, but they were very discreet and I did not see them all week (although I knew they were there if I needed anything!). “Great stay for myself, daughter and partner and grandchildren. It couldn't have been a better location for all of us, things to do for all ages.The property is located across the Clyde from Grenock, check your options for the ferries, it pays to purchase tickets before you board.Also the property is now painted grey not white as in the photos, it threw us a little when looking for the property. Nothing though to stop us completely enjoying our stay at the property. ”

“Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything.”

“Highly recommend this flat, very clean and tidy. Received full instructions from the host who also kept in touch during the holiday, making sure everything was okay. “Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed .”

“A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find.”

“Had an amazing two week stay at this apartment. It genuinely felt like home. The apartment was decorated beautifully and had all the amenities needed. Being American the only tiny issue we had was the hot water heater but we figured it out. Ali was super responsive to inquiries and let us know they were only a short distance away should we need anything. The apartment is perfectly located in Paisley and everything you need is within walking distance. It is also a 7 min drive from Glasgow……

“Beautifully decorated comfortable chic home and the sofa bed is full size double & comfy. Only downside is it’s not that practical if you plan to cook all your meals in the flat. No cupboard space for groceries, kitchen pots etc are in the bedroom, couldn’t find a frying pan. Was easier to eat out or get takeaways. Bathroom is of high standard but tight on space with no where to put a wash bag or makeup bag or even a toothbrush. Also I would suggest owner puts a proper door on the side room……
