“We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. The key was in a lock box beside the VRBO, on the Seeside Café wall. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. Upon walking in, the lake view immediately draws you in! It is breathtaking! The place itself is on the small side, but still comfortable. There is a toilet and sink behind a door on one side of the bed and a……

“Pretty much everything about this property was perfect. We wanted to stay somewhere outside of Salzburg for the Christmas markets, and to also see markets in some of the lake towns. We really loved it. It is a little far from Salzburg, though. It is a beautiful area of Austria and the cabin was the perfect size and comfort for our stay.”

“Wir hattwn in Strobl eine wunderschöne Woche. Durch die Nähe zur Postalm ideal als Unterkunft für Skiferien. Auch bei nicht idealem Wetter lässt sich hier viel unternehmen oder auch einfach gemütlich bei knisterndem Kachelofen spielen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.”

“Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben, die Lage toll, wenn man die Ruhe sucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Wir werden wiederkommen!”

“The pictures do not do this wonderful property justice. Its is a stunning 16th Century property updated with all the modern amenities. 10 of us stayed here with 4 kids and it was more than big enough. The water from the private spring is delicious, the rowing boat and diving board straight into the lake make the days fly by. We had great weather as well. Kids loved the small basketball court and the many toys and games available for them. The veiws from the veranda over the lake are amazing……

“Overall, we loved our stay in Hallstatt Lakeside Top 2! We had an amazing view, it was located in a perfect spot to walk and explore the town, it was safe, and located right next door to an excellent cafe. We would’ve liked to have had some more towels, some larger bath towels, and there were little things with the room which could’ve been cleaner or maintained better to have made our stay absolutely perfect, but overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. My wife and I would absolutely……

“Wir haben einen Skiurlaub im Salzkammergut verbracht und uns in diesem tollen Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht in der urigen Küche zu Koch und viel Zeit im gemütlichen Esszimmer zu verbringen. Leider darf der vorhandene Kachelofen nicht mehr betrieben werden, aber auch im Winter war es immer muckelig warm im Haus.”

“Das Haus liegt direkt am Wasser und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.Die Begrüßung und Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin waren sehr gut. Trotzdem die Inneneinrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist,ist alles sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Der Blick von Terrasse und Wohnzimmer auf See und Berge ist herrlich. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei und dies war im komplett eingezäunten Grundstück unproblematisch. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.Gerne wieder!”
