“Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. ”

“A very memorable stay on our Camino! Beautiful hotel, super clean, comfortable and fantastic shower. We had a pretty view of the chapel. Appreciated the quiet location off the main road at the end of Baiona which allowed for a later start on the Camino. THE BREAKFAST is the best! Lots of selection, espresso machine coffee to order and friendly table service. Owner operator Robert is friendly, helpful and offered local suggestions for restaurants and services. We loved our stay! 10/10”
“The hotel was fabulous and staff excellent. However. Food in the bar was pretty bad, not a pizza but ham and cheese on ciabatta and an uncooked, raw and cold burger, not acceptable for this type of establishment. The noise from upstairs, which is probably throughout the hotel was getting unbearable, even ear plugs didn’t stop the sounds of banging and very loud plumbing. Amazing location, historic building and common parts immaculate.”
