I always give 5 stars but this was the Worst Vacation Rental Experience Ever!Our stay at this property was absolutely horrible. AC was locked at 75 degrees which is too hot for Texas. The refrigerator wasn’t cooling at all. We had to move all of our groceries into a cooler. The owner showed up at 11:55 PM, HOURS later, with a mini fridge. She was clearly intoxicated - her speech was slurred & she wasn’t making any sense. The mini fridge didn’t get cold enough to keep groceries so we were stuck using a cooler all weekend like we were camping—definitely not the experience we expected from a "nice" 2-story home. The owner managed to lose her keys & phone as well. She didn’t leave until 1:00 AM, far too late for our small children, who needed rest before a full day at SeaWorld & Aquatica.The WiFi was a joke. It didn’t work at all upstairs, and downstairs, it was constantly cutting in & out. This was a big issue for us since we couldn’t connect our preemie baby’s Owlet sock, which is a health necessity. To top it all off on the 2nd night the kitchen sink started leaking. We had to clean up water at 11:00 PM & could not use the sink for the rest of our stay. This entire stay was nothing short of a disaster. Between constantly communicating with the owner, dealing with broken appliances, and trying to salvage our trip, it was more work than a vacation. The owner told us she doesn’t care about reviews. I truly hope this helps someone from having their family time ruined.
