There’s a really nice family which runs this hotel, and each time I encountered one of them they would say hello, ask if I needed anything, offer up ideas, steer me to fresh coffee in the lobby, etc.. Really felt the hospitality.
So, a Super 8 at a lonely highway intersection is not going to be a five-star property. The rooms were clean, had faux-hardwood floors, lights and places to plug in your devices. I felt nothing but safe being there. Very quiet nook right on the highway. Not much in walking distance. It’s about a ten minute ride into downtown.
If you are hoping to save some money and are willing to sacrifice some luxury for value, don’t pass this place up. The hosts take pride in their city and in their property and will try hard to accommodate whatever weird whim you might have!
