My Lyft driver didn't want to leave me there. He said for free he would wait for me to find another place and then take me there.
The check in is how others have described... yellow tape across front... going to the side to a slit in the window to pass my credit card, etc. If it was dark outside when I arrived, I wouldn't have checked in. Waaay too spooky.
The lady who checked me in was really nice. She told me very sternly, not to walk anywhere, and not to walk around the building.
The bed was comfortable, and the pillows great. Could've used a blanket, however. There was only the top bedsheet, and the decorative cover. The person who cleaned the room was thorough.
I only stayed here because I had an event "across the street" at the Elks Lodge. Caution... it's across the street as the bird flies. In hindsight, I should have stayed in a decent hotel 20 minutes away, and either rented a car, or paid for transportation.
Honestly, I can't see a good reason to return to San Bernadino for anything.
