“This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use.……

“This accomodation was not "fancy" but it was clean and in a great location. The view from the property was magnificent......and the pool that we did not use, looked inviting....we just did not have time for a swim. Carmelo was gracious and helpful with restaurant suggestions. I would definitely come back to this property if visiting the Agrigento region.”

“This property is incredible. So many carefully thought out spaces to enjoy the outdoors, including the amazing pool area. And the sunsets! Beautiful. The living space inside was wonderful and lovely decor. Everytime you walked into a space there was something new to enjoy. Carmelo warmly welcomed us and has great suggestions for food and places to go tour. The only thing to consider is being outside of any town/city centre there are dogs in the area that at times can get a little loud. ”

“Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette très belle maison. Une belle et grande piscine qui était plus que nécessaires avec les chaleurs que nous avons eu. Maison très propre, il y a une personne sur place qui est disponible en cas de besoin et les propriétaires sont disponibles pour toute question. La maison est un peu retirer de la ville (très calme) donc il est indispensable d’avoir une voiture pour faire quoique ce soit. Si vous cherchez une belle et grande maison avec tout le……

“Wir waren mit Hund und Kleinkind für 7 Nächte hier und fanden den Empfang und den ersten Eindruck sehr gut. Als wir dann etwas da waren und ausgeladen haben sind uns aber leider sehr viele Sachen aufgefallen die uns sehr gestört haben: -Keine Waschmaschine (in Sizilien, jeden Tag 35 grad- man schwitzt halt?) -nur zwei Handtücher für eine kleine Familie für 7 Tage - gab dann nach Aufforderung nochmal zwei…( da denke ich mir- leg doch einfach 10 Stück da hin. Man hat ja keine……

Less positive: residential area seems unfinished in the middle of nowhere, right opposite of is a school (not mentioned in the description), so the night ends at 7.45 am. A lot of dogs are barking throughout day an evening, sometimes as well in the night. Kitchen is compared to other places poorly, no room to prepare food. Refrigerator stands outside in some kind of court.……

“Beautiful property but many millipedes everywhere, water off several times, dogs barking every night, nosy owner who came by daily and we had to pay for electricity used for time there. We have rented many times from HomeAway but never was charged for electricity. We did get deposit refunded the day we left minus charge for electricity. Besides the above we did enjoy our stay there.”

“We had a great stay. The check-in was a little bit chaotic, because we didn't quite understand where to find the keys, but after that everything went smoothly. We loved the enormous pool and the lovely veggies from the garden. The house was clean. Two of the three bedrooms had an airco, the third one had a fan. The kitchen was well-equiped. ”

“This was a magical place and definitely worth a visit. After visiting Palermo this was the peaceful retreat we were looking for. Our host was absolutely wonderful - he greeted us outside, brought our luggage up to the room and promptly offered us cappuccinos with fresh home-made cookies that he then brought up to our room and set it up on the balcony so we could enjoy the views.
