The hotel was nice. The pool and spa were clean. Breakfast was good. Staff accommodated a problem with our first room and promptly relocated us. There was no daily room service for trash removal and bedding. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer, the staff are very helpful and welcoming and even though the room was on the vintage side, it was clean and had everything we needed. The location is a very short drive to everything. We will definitely be back to this hotel.

We loved our stay. It is a perfect location. Trolley takes you all over San Clemente. We didnt even have to drive our car. Staff was very nice. Would definately go back. The only issue was musky smell in room.

The staff is top notch. Erin at the front desk is a blessing. She was so sweet with us, and made sure we had extra towels, pillows, and blankets, without us even asking. She was just a delight and beyond helpful. Thank you Erin!

The property is a good location from the beach & for the wedding that we were attending. Some of the rooms are old & need upgrading. The carpet looked & felt like it was 50 years old (did not feel comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet). It would also be nice to have a microwave in ALL rooms. The staff was very accomodating.

called three times about the possibility of early check in because we were out of town, the first time i was told to call back, then after calling back at the time i was told, they only took a callback number and i never got a response. i showed up 30 minutes before check in time on the reservation and they said my room wouldn’t be available for over an hour after check in time

The room was good - clean but we did not get a renovated room, so it was in need of that. The carpet was damp from an issue with the refrigerator, but they came to check on that without us even asking, which was nice. The breakfast was great with tables outside by the fountain. Pool and hot tub were very nice too. We loved that the free city trolly stopped right outside - so easy to get to the beach and shopping. Also loved the water cooler in the lobby for refilling bottles. Once the renovate the rest of the rooms, this will be a 5-star review for sure.

I stayed in an old room and it was very old not updated since feels like the 80s. Went to the management and asked for an upgrade to the deluxe rooms which they did for me. Now those rooms are well worth the extra money. Staff were very kind and helpful. They explained they have the old rooms to provide a cheaper alternate which makes since. Can’t hold that against them. Just know the old rooms are a 3 and the deluxe rooms are a 5 in my opinion.

The large shower in the accessible room was very nice. I was not happy that there was no microwave in the room. I need one twice a day. I was also not happy that there was only a single chair in the room. It was a comfortable chair, but sat down very low so it was difficult to rise from. The bed was also extremely soft so there was no place to sit that had a firm surface. When I had guests come into the room one could sit in the chair, but everyone else had to sit on the bed or the floor. Since my family arrived before their rooms were ready, this was a problem. Bed and pillows were far to soft. No support from the pillows. The breakfast provided was adequate.

The room I stayed in was very basic—comparable to a Motel 6. Upon check-in, I noticed hair on the shower walls, which was off-putting. The amenities were minimal, and overall, it served as just a place to sleep. At $100 a night, it was acceptable, but I wouldn’t pay more. On the positive side, the location is excellent. It’s in a safe area and within walking distance of nearly everything in San Clemente. There’s also a convenient trolley you can use to get around. The pool was decent, but the breakfast was disappointing and not worth mentioning.
