I was told by the front desk that there would be a shuttle until 10pm before I arrived in SAN. I also read their letter which confirms a shuttle between “…6:30am and 10:00pm…”. I called the day before my arrival to make sure that the shuttle would be available and was assured that it would be as long as I arrived prior to 10:00pm. Upon my arrival at the airport I called the hotel at 9:05pm and was told that the shuttle service ended at 9:00pm and that I would have to take a taxi, Uber or Lyft. The nice man at the front desk stated that since I booked through Expedia that there was nothing he could do to compensate me for the expense of getting my own transportation. He told me that he would inform his manager and I would be contacted. I have not heard from anyone.

Cute hotel with a great location in the heart of a darling tourist town. My only complaint is that I only booked the hotel because it said it provided airport shuttle I would NOT have booked this hotel without shuttle service. When we got to the hotel, we were informed that they did not have shuttle service at 4am. I had to scramble to order an uber which cost $30 dollars for a 5 minute ride to the airport. Again, would NOT have booked this hotel had we known they didn’t provide shuttle service to the airport!

Very cute property with large rooms! Completely separate living room with a large TV, 2 chairs, a table, little fridge, microwave, hot plate, sink and some dishes. Then you have a bathroom that’s off the hallway, where the sink is separated which is nice so I can brush my teeth while my partner takes a shower. Then you have a completely separate bedroom (with a door that separates the bedroom from the other parts of the room), a nice size tv and enough room to accommodate 2 ppl and their luggage/belongings. The staff is GREAT! Very friendly and professional and willing to help out however they can. The hotel is a block from shopping, several restaurants and sights to see. I will definitely revisit this property when I’m in town again! :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Rooms are tired, shutters on windows were all broken. We had booked two rooms through expedia one for my husband and myself and the other for our two older kids. The rooms were not allocated in the same building, in fact not even on the same street, kids room was at a different location with a different parking structure. They were able to move us to a closer room, but it was still a 5 minute walk up many flights of steps to a different building. Also woken at 5am by the dumpster truck for the restaurant next door. Over priced, shabby, inconvenient premises. They were able to give us an early check in to get ready for graduation and it is walkable to the trolley line for SDSU and UCSD on the plus side.

Liked the over-all look of the property. Disappointed with location of our room (view of the vending machine). Property layout is confusing and needs better signage. Breakfast was HORRIBLE. Scrambled eggs tasted terrible, no toast, muffins were stale. Over-all, we only had coffee, juice and a few pieces of fruit, for $28+. Worst breakfast I've ever had.

It was huge! There were so many buildings that were a part of the hotel, it was cool! The restaurant attached was good. The shuttle drivers were so nice and informative. They drove us to the port with no extra charge which was amazing! We arrived early, well before check in time and they let us store our luggage and wait in the lobby until a room became available. A room became available at 1pm and we were able to check in. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our time there. Thank you!

Bad qualities- musky smell to the room, no TV remote on arrival, vending machines were sold out of water but hotel sold their bottles in room 😳. Low water pressure in shower and the room safe is not bolted down to make it secure, you could pick it up and walk away.

Excellent place to stay. Right in the middle of Old Town. Plenty of things to do, excellent restaurants, shops, historical places. My second stay here. Would stay again.
