I was a little leery about staying in what's essentially a motel. I worried about the noise and the safety aspects being right off a busy road. It was not noisy at all, and I felt pretty safe, even at night when we walked to get dinner. (Of course, I still had my guard up, but It was a quiet, chill area.)
Overall, it was a lovely stay. Our room was enormous, spotless, and convenient. It was an easy walk to Old Town and an easy (and cheap!) Uber from the airport and then to the cruise ship terminal. Breakfast was pretty standard as far as hotel food goes, but it was still nice it was offered and saved us from having to hunt down grub first thing in the morning. Also, they did have a pretty good variety of stuff to choose from.
And a shout out to Mike and Gabby at the front desk, both of whom were very lovely and informative about getting around via the Trolley and with good recs on where to eat in Old Town. Oh and they saved us money on the hop on, hop off tour too buying our tickets through the hotel so that was also a plus!
Also, I appreciated the communication/head's up ahead of time that the pool would be under renovation. I like when properties take the time to let people know things like that.
