Two complaints, the furniture was a bit worn and no kind of basic cable. No espn or TNT on a NBA, NHL playoff weekend? Still, a goid place to stay. I would recommend it. 👍

To whom this may concern, Hello, this is the 2nd time staying at this hotel “starling place” and i have to say it wasn’t pleasant at all, for starters i had booked a 2nd story suite on Expedia , that suppose to sleep 4 and have extra room/ amenities, because my previous stay which was April 28th, i had booked the basic studio which was cheaper & less space, etc. We arrive to the room and it’s absolutely trashed, bed isn’t made there’s dirty towels on the floor and condoms on the floor, there was trash everywhere and it was honestly the most disgusting thing ever to have to endure. Given that I had to drive back to the key card pick up location and forth to the starling forcing me to waste time & gas. When I had finally arrived to see what was going on or if there was a mistake and the property manager I spoke to said that they can offer a room lower cost of what I paid for and the only way to get a refund or exchange is through the app of which I booked with. So now we’re at the “new” room for the 2nd time and the remote was not functional at all and the handles on the drawer cabinets were also broken, one more thing was that the heater didn’t go above 74 degrees, but when we stayed last time we had the heater on at 80 degrees. Given this all in all terrible experience I probably wouldn’t recommend coming back and spending any more money here.

This is not a hotel! It’s more like a Airbnb they shouldn’t be on Expedia. To drive to different location just to get a key to get inside it’s so inconvenient. That I even canceled n got a different hotel. They should put that in there bookings. Don’t reserve here it’s not a Hotel

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. STAY AWAY FROM BOOKING. When I booked my stay, I booked a different hotel than where I end up staying. When I arrived to the original hotel I was told that I need to drive to another hotel to pick up the key. In my mind that didn't make sense, to go to another hotel 15 minutes away to pick up the key. When I arrived to check in at the Iris hotel. I was told that Starling hotel was not my hotel and blamed Expedia for showing that hotel's pictures instead of Iris hotel. Honestly I feel scammed to the highest level. Iris Hotel looks nothing like what I saw in the pictures. I can't even rate this stay due to being at a different hotel than what I booked. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. THIS IS A SCAM

This is not a hotel. There is no lobby, no person to check-in with. They list free parking, except all the spots in the lot are paid for and reserved. Parking is on the street which is used by the local residents. It took 10 minutes of driving around the neighborhood to find a spot. The layout of the building is very strange. Many exit doors with no ability to use the keycard to get in. Although my unit was on the first floor, the only way to get to it required me to go up to the second floor. I then had to meander through hallways to the other side of the building and go back downstairs. My unit was right next to an exit door, so leaving was easy. The only lights that worked was a bedside lamp and the bathroom light. No bath towels only 2 washclothes and 2 hand towels. And no one to call to fix the situation!
