We stayed at Hotel Fiona over the weekend, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Check-in was super easy, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. We arrived before check-in, but they let us store our bags so we could head out and explore the city—huge plus! Parking on site was convenient, and our room was clean and well taken care of.
You can tell the hotel is older, but it’s been nicely updated. It’s not a luxury spot, but it’s a solid, comfortable place to stay if you’re looking for something affordable in the city. We felt totally safe in the area, and it was easy to get around and do all the touristy things.
One thing that made me laugh a bit—they advertised a “courtyard view,” which turned out to be a small patio with a couple of tables and chairs. The hot tub was out of order, but no big deal. I didn’t use the pool across the street at their sister hotel, so I can’t speak to that. The free breakfast was fine—basic but totally in line with what you’d expect—and I actually liked the community bath products in the room.
All in all, I’d give Hotel Fiona a solid 3.5 to 4 stars. If you want clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly, this is a great choice.
