I recently stayed at Hotel Julian and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The location is decent, situated in a central downtown area, and the building seems like an old hotel that has been renovated. However, the service and facilities did not meet expectations, especially considering the high price paid.
On the first day, there was no heating in the room—I had to call the front desk to request it, which was quite inconvenient. The following day, there was no hot water at all. Again, I contacted the front desk, but even after waiting, the issue wasn’t resolved. I eventually had to switch rooms, which was frustrating and time-consuming.
To make matters worse, I left the "Please clean the room" sign on the door, but housekeeping never showed up. No clean towels, no service. I had to call the front desk again, and they only provided temporary towels.
The rooms themselves were just okay, but nothing special. The shower was extremely small and uncomfortable. Overall, despite the location, I don’t feel this hotel was worth the money. The service was poor, and the issues I faced should never happen in a hotel of this price range. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
