i stayed here for 10 days while i was attending a near by cooking school. i have stayed at larkspur landing multiple times when i have been taking classes. after i had moved all my stuff in (no help with luggage, not a luggage cart in sight), i discovered that the electronic lock on my door demagnatized my key after every use. when i asked the front desk to repair the lock--their suggestion was to move rooms. this hotel advertises kitchenettes, since i was here 10 days, i hoped to cook most of my meals in my room. the microwave worked, but the pots had no lids. they did not seem to be even of dollar store quality. the carpet is worn in multiple places. i realized there is a decorating style of shabby chic, but this was just shabby. i will continue to take my cooking classes, fortunately, there are newer hotels on the same street as larkspur landing and i will be giving them a try; there is no way they could provide less service than i received on my last stay.
