Location of this hotel is great for the price! That's the only reason I may stay here again in the future. Other than that, I didn't enjoy having to share bathrooms, even though they were mostly clean and never busy. I learned later that you can book a room with a private bathroom.
There's a restaurant right downstairs and the kitchen noise is constant, I'm talking from 7 in the morning all the way until 11:30pm or later at night, sounded like there was heavy construction going on right next to our room! or as if they moved furniture and tore walls all day/night, plus you can hear the kitchen staff chatter very loudly!! horrible! The hotel staff was very attentive and apologetic, offered to move us to another room but we walked throughout the hotel and the noise was heard everywhere! Stayed 4 nights and barely slept.
It's an old hotel, so it smells like old/dirty/musty carpets. Rooms are small, they don't have TVs. If you've watched "Little house on the prairie" you'll find this hotel exactly as one you may see in that show. So, I'd visit again for a night or two only because of the location, friendly staff and affordable prices, but if I'm staying longer I rather pay the extra $$ for a newer/cleaner/quieter hotel with my own bathroom.
