“The Treehouse was perfect for the last part of our Belize holiday. Tito, the caretaker was on site when we arrived. He was extremely helpful & communication was prompt. We liked how it is centrally located, so we could enjoy the many activities in and around San Ignacio. Loved hearing all the sounds of the jungle in the mornings and cooling off in the pool late in the day. A rare find for a truly different lodging experience; we would recommend The Treehouse. ”

“Beautiful property. Great hosts. Very clean. Wish we could have stayed longer”

“We loved staying at this property. Comfortable beds, and the villa was immaculate. Our kids loved having the outdoor shower(s) and private pool. If other people were staying on the property, we didn't see them. We did not rent a 4wheel drive vehicle, which is highly recommended. The road leading to the villa was VERY steep. We were fine, but if it had rained during our stay we might have a different opinion on that choice!”

“From the initiation of our reservation, we were guided by Hadas and David. They supplied specific directions to the property and a wealthy of information about area attactions. The home, deck, pool and grounds are beyond gorgeous! It was difficult to leave! Our entire stay was seamless, peaceful and very enjoyable. Hadas and David were always available on the VRBO app if we had questions. ”

“We loved the location and its proximity to town and places to visit. The home was modern, clean, spacious, and had so many hummingbirds to entertain us. Our host was helpful, super nice, and immediately responsive with any questions and needs. A few notes: the road down is a bit rough and should be initially down before dusk. We had no trouble after that. Connection to WiFi difficult.we will definitely stay there again! We stayed at a luxury resort after in San Pedro(unless you have smalwould……

“This is a unique setting with two rooms upstairs with the main kitchen and the bedroom downstairs with a mini-kitchen. It is located a few blocks up the hill from Helen’s store, so it was easy to get supplies. Even though it is a bit off of the main roads, the tours we booked had no problem picking us up at our driveway. If you don’t mind a hike, the center of town is walkable from villa maya. Great experience for our family!”

We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and we can say that the folks at the Villa, our host, Larry, Chef Melanie, and darling little Lucy made this the most epic anniversary of all time for us. “Everything about this property was amazing! Monika was probably the best VRBO host we have encountered, Toucan Villa was perfect for four adults, the central location allowed us to easily visit all of the sites on our itinerary, and the large, covered front porch was the perfect spot to spend a rainy afternoon drinking Belizean rum.
