Our fifth visit to this property, previous four visits this was a Barcello Lighthouse ownership,
which was a great small all inclusive. This was our first visit under New ownership, Solaris Lighthouse, and this visit was not great. Worst was the food service, buffet meal selections often cold, not tasty, fatty pork cuts, hard to cut and chew beef, chicken mainly wing, leg and thighs. The pool side burgers, hot dogs and french fries good, morning breakfast omelettes good , bacon was very limited.
Worst experience was the subtle lead into sales of the "Solaris Club Memberships", which started with questioning poor facility conditions ,much like the SJD airport high pressure time share hawkers. Showing staged rooms in like new condition, unlike the regularly used rooms. This is a beautiful small facility, we paid for beachfront and it was a beautiful view , but dated in need of repair and maintenance.
I hope the management team gets it together because we would go back if they make the necessary improvements.
