This property was truly wonderful. The staff made it the best - Angie, Alejandro, Alex, David. They made this week very special. I highly recommend the indigenous hike, a meal in the nest, the nocturnal tour and the canyoneering. We were with friends - we were two adult women and two 1; year old daughters. We felt so safe and loved every minute!

The staff was very aloof in general. The workers at the front of the property did not greet me when I walked in. They looked at me when I drove up then continued to talk amongst themselves. The check in person also seemed uninterested in me when I asked her any questions. It took me 20 minutes to get a beer at the pool bar with one person in front of me who had ordered a beer also. The property itself was very nice. Room was nice, pool was nice. I can['t say anything bad about the site. There was ample restaurants across the street which gave us many options for food. My only disappoint was the staff

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel, we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt based upon our first experience since we liked the pool. Once again, we were put in a room that smelled mouldy, and my wife woke up with a sore throat. The food at the restaurant was once again horrible... they didn't even have bacon for the breakfast buffet, and at dinner I was the worst tuna steak I've ever had! My wife reminded.me.that the dinner was bad the last time we were here as well. No one came to check on our food, and when I explained my concern at checkout, the person at the desk was not empowered to remove the charge for the me. He took my email and assured me I would hear from someone, but the same thing happened last time, and I never heard from anyone. We travel to Costa Rica often, this will likely be the last time we stay at this hotel unless.they make some effort to make things right.

Place nearby airport and offered accessible transportation to and from the airport. The staff at the entrance were friendly and greeted us warmly. The waiter Carlos at the hotel restaurant was also polite and kind in telling us about areas to visit and the different food options available.

This property is an old style hotel with open air corridors with lots of beautiful vegetation. The rooms are very clean, however, the furnishings are very dated. The rooms could definitely use a refresher.

The room smelled very bad, it had a horrible humid smell (room1030) the bed sheets were dirty and pieces of the shower floors were chipped. But the WORST part was the customer service in the restaurant, the older man with a big belly and the older lady both with greyish hair were absolutely rude and unfriendly. The young servers were so kind, and helpful. Also the men that were helping set up the conference area were EXTREMELY RUDE while setting up the chairs for the us (the paying customers) they were banging the chairs down the floors and speaking to us in a rude manner. This hotel desperately needs a much better manager that know how to speak and treat customers. Absolutely the WORST experience in a hotel I’ve stayed at. I hope the hotel makes some improvements. Employees at the front desk were very professional and kind.
