Noisy and overpriced. Nice rooftop, but for this price point the service was forgettable and the room was under amenitized, with barely passable soap and shampoo. There was a super noisy bar outside our room and we were treated to several barroom disagreements and screaming sessions. Breakfast was forgettable. Poor value for money.

Perfect location in old San Juan! Easily walk to plenty of great bars and restaurants. Amazing views from the rooftop. Please fix the beer vending machine on the roof, really wanted a beer on the roof.

The property was lovely and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfasts there were awesome, as was the atmosphere of the lobby. The room was very pretty, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious with a really nice shower. The only thing disappointing was that neither the bar on the first floor nor the bar on the terrace or functional. Certainly not a deal-breaker.

Many of the rooms do not have windows (called "Superior" rooms) and TV channel options are very limited. It is super convenient to Old San Juan.

Once we found the hotel on a very busy one way street, the next challenge was parking. Once the car was parked and we were checked in, we had the best time., Front desk personnel were informative and so polite. Hotel was quiet and the terrace was beautiful

Booked this last minute for 1 night in old San Juan before heading back home and it was perfect. They were so kind to offer ample space to store our luggages as we arrived before check in time and same for leaving our bags after checkout. Would recommend and repeat in a future visit !

So quiet! Its so close to everything yet its in an area where the noise doesn't reach. So clean too, and the terrace is absolutely breathtaking. Will definitely stay there again.

Area is beautiful and historical, however hotel needs lots of work, rooms need thorough cleaning, bed mattress are old, bathrooms horrible. Was changed from one room to another and it didn’t help. Hotel in great area, just wish it was in better condition.

Old world architecture nice. Room clean. Staff nice! For $350/ night, you can provide a bigger than 30in(?) TV that you cant see from the bed., no controls for the AC, only 2 towels, minimal soap and shampoo, no bathroom hook for clothes, no soap shelf in shower, bathroom door scrapes on the foor waking up your partner at night. No coffee maker in the room.

Staying at the La Terraza in Old San Juan was the highlight of my trip. The staff was EXCELLENT! Very accommodating and helpful 24/7! Even though they had breakfast services, La Terraza was also a very short walk to various restaurants. Being a woman traveling with my teenage daughter, elderly mother and young autistic son, I felt very safe in the surrounding community and I am grateful that I was able to take my mother one more time to Old San Juan to see all the new changes that occurred these last fifty years. I would highly recommend this property and the service was excellent for a parent of a young autistic child. Thank you for a fantastic trip La Terraza staff! I will be back!

This is the perfect location for exploring downtown Old San Juan. Due to the rustic nature of the area, you can't flush toilet paper so you have to be very comfortable with the people you travel with in your room. I recommend bringing a sound machine as the rooms aren't insulated well and you can hear outside noises easily. The amenities and the rooftop terrace are perfect for socializing and relaxing.
