“Cabin is very cute but ultimately for only 2 people. I requested a VRBO for 4 people in my search engine and this cabin populated that it could accommodate 4 people. Luckily only 3 of us traveled and the owner reached out to me (which was very nice ) so we brought our blow up mattress. The cot that was provided would not have been comfortable for my 18 year old. I’m also grateful the owner communicated the sleeping arrangements but like I mentioned, this cabin should really be under the “2……

“Cabin was perfect for us. Very private. Beautiful property! Listening to the wind blow through the trees was just what we needed; so relaxing and serene. Heard elk calling at night! There were deer every morning and evening in the front and back yard! Everything was perfect. ”

“Great views of the mountains! Perfect for a couple who want to be off the grid. Things I wish I would have known ahead of time: no WiFi on property (which makes tv unusable unless you have cell service up there - we did not), no washer/dryer, no dishwasher, gas fireplace doesn’t work, and minimal indoor lighting. “I come to fort Garland a few times a year. Im so glad I found this gem! The location is great a it is so clean and meticulous I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Also the owners are a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait to go back.”

“Not really set up for a long stay. A coffee maker and a shower would make even a short stay better.”

“The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again.”
