Upon arrival, the the manager made it difficult to check in, rudely demanded my service animal’s registration, $100 cash for incidentals, and on top of that, the shower and phone in the room were not even working. Therefore, I had to walk to the office, wait for the manager to wake up so get me shower fixed. First, he confirmed that the phones don’t work, next he told ME to fix my shower myself. (Where maintenance?!)Then, he asked me to get out of my room he can try. He made me move to the other side of the street while doing so because he seemed terrified of my very friendly service animal. He fixed my shower and when trying to thank him, he literally just walked away and said nothing. As someone who works in this industry, I was shocked at how someone who lacks basic customer service and hospitality skills could a run a hotel. Will never be back again and would NOT recommend to anyone.
