At the time of check-in, the desk attendant exhibited a highly unprofessional and rude demeanor, despite my prior payment for my room through Expedia. Notably, the attendant charged my credit card twice. Consequently, I dedicated approximately two hours of my time to resolving the issue through customer service chat. I was informed that the erroneous charges would be reversed.
However, upon checking back a week later, I discovered that the charges remained on my credit card. Such behavior in the hospitality industry is unacceptable. The attendant’s demeanor was characterized by condescension, as if I were incapable of understanding the situation.
Upon entering the room, we discovered food debris on the carpet. However, upon returning to the front desk, we found an extended queue. After experiencing significant frustration with the previous check-in process, I was disheartened to be subjected to the same individual once more.
