“It was the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 weeks Ecuador trip even though it wasn’t the most expensive place we stayed in. People were friendly and spoke English. We could even walk there from the bus station. The breakfast was exceptional and the spa and fitness are had so much atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!!”

“The room was spacious as was the bathroom and showers. Everything looked clean and modern. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there were no reading lights. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty although the coffee was very weak. ”

“I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. Smiles were abundant. I was shown around the property coffee and water available and beautiful areas to enjoy and relax My room was immaculate, the bathroom had all new and modern toilet sink, and shower. Along with an abundance of HOT water. Breakfast at the little restaurant next door was fresh and YUMMY. If I ever find myself in Ecuador again, Riobamba, I will stay at Hotel Montecarlo Riobamba again. ”

“the double standard room is so small that can only put two small beds , because the holidays so i guess that is why the hotel cannt help to change to one kind bed. the breakfast is so limited ,what is wrose ,i waited 15 minutes for the omelet but someone come later than me can take in advance , the room is clean, the waiter is kind and general environment is good”

“We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The location is ideal and the property is very amazing. It is like staying in an art museum. Karl was a wonderful host…except he didn’t let me win at backgammon lol. “The hotel has a unique vibe, a mixture of old as the original buildings is around 118 years old, but modern as the rooms are modern and the restaurant is a pleasure to eat in. It is off the noisy Main Street and a short walk to the hot springs. Everything was in excellent condition and Paulo was super helpful in all areas. His English was great which helped us a lot.”
