This is it - 'The Perfect Sandpoint Rental'. Ideally situated just two blocks off Cedar Street, this charming cottage offers family-friendly comfort and in-home entertainment right in the heart of town. Highlights include a spacious, fully fenced backyard complete with a flowing, paved patio, a private hot tub, a grill, an outdoor dining table, and a gas firepit area. Sandpoint City Beach Park is less than a mile from home. The Sandpoint Farmers' Market and your choice of restaurants, cafes, and bars are within walking or biking distance.

Whether you're hosting a barbecue, soaking in the hot tub, or just gathering around the firepit, the backyard is your own private oasis to enjoy any time of day.

Inside, you'll find a well-appointed stainless steel kitchen and an inviting, open living area with room for the whole family. Relax on one of the sofas to stream shows and movies on the smart TV or just connect to the complimentary in-home WiFi to browse the web and upload the day's photos to your social media accounts. A collection of board games are also provided for some old-school entertainment. Thoughtful home additions include a Pack-N-Play, a baby gate, and four adult-size bicycles. A private washer/dryer rounds out the modern home essentials.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We have stayed there many times and absolutely love this place! It’s close to everything! It’s very clean. I wish the outside lights would have worked out by the patio! Also would like to use the bikes in the garage!!

Close to town

This was a great house to stay in for a birthday get away. So close to town and easy to walk everywhere. The hot tub was really nice and they had lots of towels for hot tub and shower. Kitchen was stocked with all the skillets and pots needed for simple or pretty fancy cooking. Overall it was a great little getaway. Thanks!

Property could stand some maintenance. Old house that could stand some painting and remodeling in places, Very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water for good showers, located right next to the back of a shopping center and very close to downtown. well equiped kitchen. nice hot tub.

The kitchen was well appointed, there were extra towels for the hot tub, it was nice to have access to laundry, and the house was big enough to spread out in. It was also very conveniently located -walkable distances to grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. We had a lovely stay.As others noted, it's not very apparent from the description or photos, but there are 2 beds (King, bunk room) and 1 full bathroom on the main floor. The two bedrooms are not near one another -the king is near the front door and the bunk room and bathroom are off the kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms and a 3/4 bath upstairs. Each room has a double/queen and a twin bed. Neither bedroom has doors. This setup was fine for our family's needs, but it may not work for everyone.

Great spot great location

Stayed here with friends and a dog- loved the backyard and the hot tub was great after a ski day. Easy to walk downtown for food and right by Safeway for cooking at home as well. Wish it had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the backyard more! Communication with property management was great

Great location, basic accommodation

This property met, but did not exceed our expectations. Location was great, walkable to downtown and stores. The two upstairs bedrooms did not have doors which limited privacy. Beds, bedding, and furnishings were all basic but suited our needs.

Overall a perfect situation in a perfect location. Walk into town for coffee. Drive 20mins to the mountain. Walk to the grocery store for dinner. The home had everything we needed.

Good for Sandpoint

Great location in Sandpoint. The home is older but still adequate. The backyard was fantastic especially since we bought our dogs. The owner put a lot of effort into holiday details, which made the home very warm during the holiday.

Perfect Gem

Recently had the pleasure of staying at this property with my family of 5 and another couple of 4 along with one pet. We needed a home that could accommodate 2 adult couples and 5 children that was centerally located with easy access to a local soccer field. First, the soccer tournament dates changed and the home owner was willing to change the dates for us and shorten the stay. She was very responsive to any correspondance sent, even while at the home. Secondly, the home came well equiped with items for entertainment (games, subscribed TV options, Alexa) along with a fantastic hot tub in the back yard. Speaking of the backyard, it's wonderful. It's a great space to hang out and have dinner or a nice glass of wine by the fire place. The sleeping quarters were adequate for our needs. Beds were comfortable. Fans provided in each room helped keep it cool. Home is quiet and cozy. The home is within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shop. But if you don't want to walk, the provided Kurig can brew up a mean cup of coffee. Definitely looking forward to rebooking for next years tournament.

Enjoyable!

This is a suitable dog-friendly property, with an enclosed backyard - which was important criteria for our trip. The host has thought of and provides many necessities to easily settle in, making it a home away from home. It is evident that the host is conscientious of their tenants comfort. Although you will be drawn to walking the conveniently short distance into town and the lakeside often during your stay, it would be a shame to miss out on enjoying time in the spacious and well-thought out arrangement of the backyard – with a hot tub. It is an older home, and as mentioned in a previous review, the stairs to the second floor are steep. It’s great that the property is within very close proximity to the lake and downtown, but because of that there are the noises associated with those of staying near businesses. It is a charming property. The host made it so easy to enjoy our extended weekend stay. Yes, we would choose to stay here again.
