“We absolutely loved the property. Rick provided a well stocked kitchen and the beds were extremely comfortable. The listing was very accurate & Rick answered any and all questions promptly. We highly recommend adding the pontoon to your rental. It was nice to putter around the lake. We lived on the lake all day and played games in the sunroom all evening. The sunsets were insane the week that we were there.The weather was amazing so we didn't utilize the game room that much, but when we did……

“We went back and forth about booking due to the reviews and I’m so glad we just went ahead and booked. It’s definitely a good old northern cabin on the lake, outdated, and some spider webs. But, the lake was nice, nice dock, fire pit cozy, beds were comfy and we had a great time! Would definitely rebook if we find ourselves in the area again.”

“We stayed over Birkie weekend with three generations - ages 65 to 1. The home was perfect for our needs. We found some shovels in the garage and made an ice rink on the lake for some family hockey games, which was the highlight of our stay. We also snuck down to the lake at night to watch the stars. There are two additional twin mattresses tucked under the bunks in the basement bedroom. There are plenty of extra bedding/blankets and towels in closets, which was so nice! We would stay again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Great outdoors space for a fire and viewing the lake. One warning for boats: we rented a pontoon from nearby with the plan of using it off and on for a day while docking it in the back channel at the cabin like the rental says. With a regular sized pontoon motor trimmed about halfway, I was not able to access the back channel as the entrance was too shallow and I got stuck in the sand in multiple spots. The water was……

“This lake home is gorgeous. It's definitely not your typical cabin in the woods. The kitchen is very bright and has a gorgeous view of the lake. There is a ton of space to relax, play and enjoy together. The game room was an extra bonus for some of our cooler/rainy days (And any time the kids were inside, they were playing in the game room!) Dock was easy access to park the boat and the bottom was sandy to swim right off the shore/dock. We really enjoyed fishing off the dock as well -- caught……
